Hadith no.210

Sahih Hadith regarding the Significance of Salah

It is narrated on the authority of Jabir that he heard the Apostle (may peace and blessings be upon him) saying. Verily between man and between polytheism and unbelief is the negligence of prayer. [Sahih Muslim 82a]

Hadith no.211

Sahih Hadith regarding the punishment of not paying Zakat

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger PBUH said, "Whoever is made wealthy by Allah and does not pay the Zakat of his wealth, then on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will be made like a baldheaded poisonous male snake with two black spots over the eyes. The snake will encircle his neck and bite his cheeks and say, 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure.' " Then the Prophet PBUH recited the holy verses (Surah al-Imran Verse no.180):-- 'Let not those who withhold . . .' (to the end of the verse) [Sahih al-Bukhari 1403]

Hadith no.212

Sahih Hadith regarding paying Zakat

Narrated Ibn Abbas:

The Prophet PBUH sent Muadh to Yemen and said, "Invite the people to testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and I am Allah's Messenger PBUH, and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah has enjoined on them five prayers in every day and night (in twenty-four hours), and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah has made it obligatory for them to pay the Zakat from their property and it is to be taken from the wealthy among them and given to the poor." [Sahih al-Bukhari 1395]

Hadith no.213

Sahih Hadith regarding the Discipline of Fasting

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah PBUH said, "Fasting is a protection for you, so when you are fasting, do not behave obscenely or foolishly, and if anyone argues with you or abuses you, say, 'I am fasting. I am fasting.' " [Muwatta Malik 690]

Hadith no.214

Sahih Hadith regarding the arrival of Ramadan

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger PBUH as saying: When it is the month of Ramadan, the gates of mercy are opened, and the gates of Hell are locked and the devils are chained. [Sahih Muslim 1079b]

Hadith no.215

Sahih Hadith regarding Transactions

It was narrated from Al-Laith, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah PBUH said

"When two men enter into a transaction, each of them has the choice until they separate." On one occasion he said: "So long as they have not separated and one has not told the other to decide. If one tells the other to decide and they agree upon something, then the transaction is binding. If they separate after entering into a transaction and neither of them has canceled the transaction, then the transaction is binding." [Sunan Nasai 4472]

Message for the Ummah regarding Ramadan

Many congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the arrival of Ramadan. We all should be thankful to Allah for granting us this Holy Month to seek forgiveness and guidance from him. While we are fasting, we should not forget all those people around the world who can't afford to buy enough food to meet their needs. We should not forget our Muslim brothers in Palestine, Kashmir, Xinjiang, Africa, and also the people of Ukraine and Tibet as well. We, as Ummah, should take this Holy Month as a golden opportunity to strengthen our faith in Allah so that we can face the trials, tribulations, and fitnah of the Modern age while having firm belief in him. We should take this Holy Month to strengthen our Brotherhood with each other and act as one against the enemies of Islam. As Muslims, we should spend more time reciting the Quran and understanding the meaning and Tafseer of the Verses of the Holy so that we can get a deeper understanding of what Allah has said in the Holy Quran.

We, as Ummah, should strengthen our faith as much as we can so that whenever Imam Mahdi and Prophet Isa arrive, we can stand alongside them and fight Jihad in the way of Allah against the infidels. The entire Ummah should prepare itself mentally, intellectually, physically and financially etc so that when Mahdi and Prophet Isa arrive we would be ready to help them in the best possible manner. If they arrive and our faith and our understanding of Islam are not sufficient, then we could end up being against them, and this would be a grave sin. We should focus on the dire situation of the Ummah and think about the reasons that got us to this point. We, as an Ummah, should strive to get rid of these causes. The best way to do this is to act upon the Quran and the Sunnah and the best time to start this is the Holy Month of Ramadan. May Allah bless this Holy Month for all Muslims living around the globe.

Relativistic time mentioned in the Quran

In this blog, I have written about the verse of the Holy Quran in which Allah Almighty talks about the relativity of time. Translation of verse 5 of Surah As-Sajdah He conducts(governs) everything from the heavens to the earth, and then everything ascends to him on a day whose length by your reckoning is a thousand years. Explanation              The above-mentioned verse of the Holy Quran talks about a very famous concept in physics, which is the relativity of time, also known as time dilation. Late 19th and early 20th century scientists such as Lorentz, Emil Kuhn, Hermann Minkowski, Albert Einstein and many others theorized this concept, but Einstein made the greatest contribution. Time dilation deals with the fact that time is not absolute but relative. In general, time dilation is defined as how fast or how slow time will pass depending on the reference frame (accelerating/moving or non-accelerating/at rest or speeds much slower than...

Mention of the Verse of the Holy Quran which talks about time being relative

In this article, I wrote about the verse of the Quran, which mentions time being relative. Translation of Verse 47 of Surah Al-Hajj They challenge you, O Prophet, to hasten the torment(Day of Judgment/Doom's Day). And Allah will never fail in His promise. But a day with your Lord is indeed like a thousand years by your counting. Explanation                        At the beginning of this verse of Surah Al-Hajj, Allah says that the infidels challenge the Prophet Muhammad SAW in bringing the Day of Judgment or the Doom's Day before its actual time. They do so to see those punishments quickly, which they are promised by Allah for their misdeeds. It is also clearly mentioned in the second part of this verse that Allah will never fail in his promise which means that those people who have done misdeeds and disobeyed Allah will surely be punished on the day of Judgment. The last part of this verse talks about a concept in...
