Significance of Day of Ashura(10th of Muharram)

          In this blog, I have written about some significance of the Day of Ashura(10th of Muharram), the first month of the Islamic calendar year.   In this blog, I have written Sahih Hadith regarding the sacrifice of animals done on Eid-al-Adha and Hadith regarding things to do on the day of Arafah.   Hadith no.1 The Prophet SAW said (on the day of Eidal-Adha), "The first thing we will do on this day of ours, is to offer the (`Eid) prayer and then return to slaughter the sacrifice. Whoever does so, he acted according to our Sunna (tradition), and whoever slaughtered (the sacrifice) before the prayer, what he offered was just meat he presented to his family, and that will not be considered as Nusak (sacrifice)."    In this article, I have written about the real significance of Ramadan, which Muslims as Ummah should focus on. As you all know this is the Holy month of Ramadan. The month in which the Quran was sent down from heaven for the guidance of mankind to the right path.  "Ramadan  is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the decisive authority. So whoever is present this month, let them fast. But whoever is ill or on a journey, then ˹let them fast˺ an equal number of days ˹after Ramaḍân˺. Allah intends ease for you, not hardship, so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful."
