Hadith regarding being nice to women

Allah's Apostle said, "Treat women nicely, for a woman is created from a rib, and the most curved portion of the rib is its upper portion, so, if you should try to straighten it, it will break, but if you leave it as it is, it will remain crooked. So treat women nicely." [Bukhari 3331]

Hadith regarding living in this world

“The Prophet SAW lay down on a reed mat, and it left marks on his skin. I said: ‘May my father and mother be ransomed for you, O Messenger of Allah! If you had told us we would have provided you with something that would save you this trouble.’ The Messenger of Allah SAW said: ‘What is there between myself and the world? This world and I are just like a rider who stops to rest beneath the shade of a tree then goes and leaves it.’” [Ibn Majah 4109]

Hadith Regarding Dajjal(Anti-Christ)

The Messenger of Allah SAW said, "There will be no land which will not be trampled by Dajjal (the Antichrist) but Makkah and Al-Madinah; and there will be no passage leading to them which will not be guarded by the angels, arranged in rows. Dajjal will appear in a barren place adjacent to Madinah, and the city will be shaken three times. Allah will expel from it every disbeliever and hypocrite." [Riyad us Saliheen 1811]

Hadith Regarding Ahle Bayt (Household of the Prophet Muhammad SAW)

The Messenger of Allah SAW said: "Indeed, I am leaving among you, that which if you hold fast to them, you shall not be misguided after me. One of them is greater than the other: The Book of Allah is a rope extended from the sky to the earth, and my family - the people of my house - and they shall not split until they meet at the Hawd, so look at how you deal with them after me." [Al Tirmidhi 3788]

Hadith Regarding Companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW

"Allah's Messenger SAW said, "A time will come upon the people when a group of people will wage a holy war, and it will be said, 'Is there amongst you anyone who has accompanied Allah's Messenger SAW ?' They will say, 'Yes.' And so victory will be bestowed on them. Then a time will come upon the people when a group of people will wage a holy war, and it will be said, "Is there amongst you anyone who has accompanied the companions of Allah's Messenger SAW ?' They will say, 'Yes.' And so victory will be bestowed on them. Then a time will come upon the people when a group of people will wage a holy war, and it will be said, "Is there amongst you anyone who has been in the company of the companions of the companions of Allah's Messenger SAW ?' They will say, 'Yes.' And victory will be bestowed on them." [Sahih al Bukhari 3649]

Aisha narrated:

that she said to `Urwa, "O, the son of my sister! We used to see three crescents in two months, and no fire used to be made in the houses of Allah's Messenger SAW (i.e. nothing used to be cooked)." `Urwa said, "What used to sustain you?" `Aisha said, "The two black things i.e. dates and water, except that Allah's Messenger SAW had neighbors from the Ansar who had some milch she-camels, and they used to give the Prophet SAW some milk from their house, and he used to make us drink it." [Bukhari 6459]

Hadith regarding 73 sects

The Messenger of Allah SAW said: "What befell the children of Israel will befall my Ummah, step by step, such that if there was one who had intercourse with his mother in the open, then there would be someone from my Ummah who would do that. Indeed the children of Israel split into seventy-two sects, and my Ummah will split into seventy-three sects. All of them are in the Fire Except one sect." He said: "And which is it O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "What I am upon and my Companions." [Al-Tirmidhi 2641]

Hadith regarding Dajjal (Anti-christ)

I accompanied Abu Mas'ud Al-Ansari to Hudaifah bin Al-Yaman (May Allah be pleased with them). Abu Mas'ud said to him: "Tell us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah SAW about Dajjal (the Antichrist)." Hudaifah said: He SAW said, "Dajjal will appear, and with him will be water and fire. That which people consider to be water will in fact be a burning fire, and that which people will consider to be fire will in fact be cool and sweet water. He who from amongst you happens to face him, should jump into that which he sees as fire for that will be nice and sweet water." Abu Mas'ud said: "I have also heard this from the Messenger of Allah SAW." [Riyad as Salihin 1809]

Hadith regarding Rights of Neighbours and Guests

He who believes in Allah and the Last Day should either utter good words or better keep silence; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day should treat his neighbour with kindness and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his guest. [Sahih Muslim 47 a]

In this blog I have written about Hadith regarding arrival of the month of Ramadan, Hadith regarding what one says upon seeing the Crescent moon, Hadith regarding killing a Believer intentionally.

Hadith no.1

Hadith regarding arrival of the month of Ramadan

Allah's Messenger SAW said, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained." [Bukhari 1899]

Hadith no.2

Hadith regarding what one says upon seeing the Crescent moon

From his father, from his grandfather Talhah bin `Ubaidullah that when the Prophet SAW would see a crescent moon, he would say: “O Allah, bring it over us with blessing and faith, and security and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah (Allāhumma ahlilhu `alainā bil-yumni wal-Īmān, was-salāmati wal-Islām, rabbī wa rabbuk Allāh).” [Al-Tirmidhi 3451]

Hadith no.3

Hadith regarding killing a Believer intentionally

An ally of Bani Zuhra who took part in the battle of Badr with the Prophet, that he said, "O Allah's Apostle! If I meet an unbeliever and we have a fight, and he strikes my hand with the sword and cuts it off, and then takes refuge from me under a tree, and says, 'I have surrendered to Allah (i.e. embraced Islam),' may I kill him after he has said so?" Allah's Messenger SAW said, "Do not kill him." Al- Miqdad said, "But O Allah's Messenger SAW ! He had chopped off one of my hands and he said that after he had cut it off. May I kill him?" The Prophet SAW said. "Do not kill him for if you kill him, he would be in the position in which you had been before you kill him, and you would be in the position in which he was before he said the sentence." The Prophet SAW also said to Al-Miqdad, "If a faithful believer conceals his faith (Islam) from the disbelievers, and then when he declares his Islam, you kill him, (you will be sinful). Remember that you were also concealing your faith (Islam) at Mecca before." [Bukhari 6865]

Narrated Warrad:

(the freed slave of Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba) Muawiya wrote to Mughira. 'Write to me what you heard the Prophet Muhammad PBUH saying after his prayer.' So Al-Mughira dictated to me and said, "I heard the Prophet Muhammad PBUH saying after the prayer,

'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah Alone Who has no partner. O Allah! No-one can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the fortune of a man of means is useless before You (i.e., only good deeds are of value)." [Bukhari 6615]

We heard the Messenger of Allah SAW say: `lf the people see evil and do not change it, soon Allah will send His punishment upon them all." [Masnad Ahmad 01]
