Mention of the Creation of everything in Pairs in the Quran

In this blog, I have written about a verse of the Quran which mentions the creation of everything in pairs.

Translation of Verse 36 of Surah Al-Yasin

"Glory be to the One Who created all things in pairs—˹be it˺ what the earth produces, their genders, or what they do not know!"

Explanation

This verse of the Quran says that Allah hasn't created anything that isn't in pairs. There is a pair of everything Male and Female, Good and Bad, Hot and Cold, Life and Death, etc. Recent studies have shown that opposite genders, i.e. Masculinity and Femininity, are also present in plants. If you are a student of physics, then you would agree with this verse of the Quran. There are many examples of pairing in physics as well, like matter and anti-matter, electron and positron, positively charged particles and negatively charged particles, quarks and anti-quarks, neutrinos and anti-neutrinos, etc. Even forces also act in pairs such as the action-reaction forces, electrostatic forces of attraction and repulsion, etc. This is what scientists have discovered in the last century or so, which Allah described in the Quran 1400 years ago. This motivates us to study the Quran not only for our guidance but also to get to know various scientific facts mentioned in the Quran. Keeping in mind that the Quran is not a book of science. It is a book of guidance, and these various scientific facts are present in the Quran so that we can applaud the wisdom and creation of Allah Almighty.

Relativistic time mentioned in the Quran

In this blog, I have written about the verse of the Holy Quran in which Allah Almighty talks about the relativity of time. Translation of verse 5 of Surah As-Sajdah He conducts(governs) everything from the heavens to the earth, and then everything ascends to him on a day whose length by your reckoning is a thousand years. Explanation              The above-mentioned verse of the Holy Quran talks about a very famous concept in physics, which is the relativity of time, also known as time dilation. Late 19th and early 20th century scientists such as Lorentz, Emil Kuhn, Hermann Minkowski, Albert Einstein and many others theorized this concept, but Einstein made the greatest contribution. Time dilation deals with the fact that time is not absolute but relative. In general, time dilation is defined as how fast or how slow time will pass depending on the reference frame (accelerating/moving or non-accelerating/at rest or speeds much slower than...

Mention of the Verse of the Holy Quran which talks about time being relative

In this article, I wrote about the verse of the Quran, which mentions time being relative. Translation of Verse 47 of Surah Al-Hajj They challenge you, O Prophet, to hasten the torment(Day of Judgment/Doom's Day). And Allah will never fail in His promise. But a day with your Lord is indeed like a thousand years by your counting. Explanation                        At the beginning of this verse of Surah Al-Hajj, Allah says that the infidels challenge the Prophet Muhammad SAW in bringing the Day of Judgment or the Doom's Day before its actual time. They do so to see those punishments quickly, which they are promised by Allah for their misdeeds. It is also clearly mentioned in the second part of this verse that Allah will never fail in his promise which means that those people who have done misdeeds and disobeyed Allah will surely be punished on the day of Judgment. The last part of this verse talks about a concept in...
